Hempen Shirts and Pants

Currently the Hempen Pants/Shirts display a unique style for characters depending on their race, but can this be changed to allow for all races to wear all styles?

The Hempen Chemise/pantelettes etc are actually a holdover from the original version of FFXIV (1.0). where they were actually the character's 'small clothes', as in underwear - it was equipped in a special 'small clothes' slot in the character screen and usually didn't give any stats, and was a requirement to have something equipped there at all times, like a weapon or tool. The swimwear was originally classed as small clothes too and was equipped in the same way. They would only show if you removed all other gear from your character.

In ARR however, SE decided to abolish the small clothes body and legs slots and just had a default appearance of underwear for each race when all other gear was removed, with the old 1.0 small clothes becoming normal equipment but still devoid of stats and thus is just for glamour. Thus this is why each race has unique gear appearances, it's essentially 'racial' equipment that is specific for that race.

Sadly I don't see SE changing this, despite some races having very nice underwear appearances.
