Upcoming Boss Hints

First off, sorry if there's already a similar thread out there.

So, with the expansion and upcoming features revealed during the Fan Fest & Live Letters it somehow occurred to me that there might be a pattern here:

• Stormblood expansion will take place in the deserts of Ala Mhigo.
• They're introducing more airship battles with patch 3.5.
• Updates to make swimming and diving possible.
• Recurring FF boss Omega for the next raid tier.

Could it be that these guys are making a comeback?

Well, Ultima is already in-game. Omega is gonna use its Final Fantasy V form. I'd like to see both Ruby and Emerald Weapon again. If you could fight Emerald underwater, that'd be great. However, as we were expecting flying combat in HW and we didn't get it... unless I'm missing something, I don't think we'll get underwater combat either. ; ;

I would also save the four elemental fiends for that raid too. Since the new 24-man raid is gonna have an Ivalice theme, I don't think they'll have a place there anytime soon.

Ala Mhigo's region is more mountains then desert, though there are deserts.

The closest thing to fighting underwater in this thing will ever get is if the arena is a giant glass bubble. Yoshida has already said that there's not going to be combat while swimming.

The flying combat thing was just cockamamie ideas that they couldn't figure out how to implement.

But, couldn't it have barren areas nested in the low mountains. Perhaps even canyons? Perhaps even a... Cosmo Canyon? ...

I can see it along some odd lines like what we did with Bismark, have some convulated plan to lure Emerald into an area that we create, like an air dome or such that parts the ocean.

Man, that nostalgic Ruby Weapon cheese strat. Good times, even if I'm not sure the colored Weapons will ever make it into this game.
