    Game bug @ ifrit crystal

    Hi, I wanted to share an interesting incident that I am still suffering from, I was about to enter ifrit fight and and the game crashed, normally you would be able to simply relog and go back to fighting, it's been 3 days since the game crashed at that location and I am unable to access my character.

    It's been days since I reported this and no action or even a proper response, the technical support team of SE are acting a like retards, asking me to check with my Internet service provider, when i able able to log in with my other character there indeed a bug.

    Also my LS members lost their pearls on the same day, every time they walk into the cave the pearl simply disappears.

    Anyone have the experience, I am stuck and no help SE team my friends tell me it should be sorted out in a maintenance run, but I am stuck unable to access my character the screen simply remains at the loading faze and I never pop into the screen.

    just have to stick with SE support.

    make all points loud and clear to them. such as a description of what happened followed by

    "My isp IS NOT TO BLAME. i am able to log in with another character"
    "my network connetion IS NOT TO BLAME"
    "my hardware configuration IS NOT TO BLAME"

    "YOUR servers have this bug in NOT MY SYSTEM"

    basicaly highlight all the points that proove its thier end and tell them that any further implication that your to blame will not be well met.

    What i have experience on that Cave is lot of crashes , somehow that is now the Devils Cave , if you want to experience issues with the game go to that cave ^^

    The thing is it seems SE policy is one response a day, Every point need a day for response and that is a long process, it's been 4 days now and zilch nothing from them.

    Did you post this bug in the In-Game Bugs forum? I really hate sounding like a canned response, but since you can't access your character in game (perhaps create a second character so you can actually GET to the Support Desk request?), your next best bet is filling out that long support form in the In-Game Bugs forum.

    Definitely go to the In-Game Bugs forum for help.

    And stick to your guns. Remain stubborn, as Secret Reeve says. One of the main things people do when they work for customer service is to do everything you can to get them to stop calling you (anyone who worked for customer service or retail will tell you this). Get the problem done and out of the way. The only way to get them to listen to you is to be persistent.

    Also, I find your name kinda interesting. A lot of RMTs use the linkshell name of "gaga". I initially thought you were an RMT when I saw you around in Saronia until I saw that you were part of an actual linkshell, heh.

    Thanks Bahn, and yes I filled up that form the interesting comment u get one you fill the form is the following " thank you for your application, please note that we do not respond to individual reports", which technically means we do not care what bug you report.

    And it's very true what you say about customer support, the answers I have received are basically cope pastes from the FAQ list.

    The sad part is that I am still stuck and with the new announcement of delay on the updates, I can assume that it will be weeks before I get my character back.

    It doesn't mean that at all. It means they don't respond to every person who reports a bug. They look into the issue brought up and fix it if necessary and then make an announcement in the patch notes. No need to respond to the individual who reported it.

    Hi Princess Gaga.

    It seems like what you're experiencing has been affecting other players as well in different spots. One other crashed getting into Ifrit, logged back in and the quest was completed, but did not get to watch the cutscenes. Unrelated to Ifrit, after selecting their character is continually crashing upon log in.

    This next part will also sound like a canned response, but following up on Bahn's suggestion, if you could post on the forum below as well:

    And this probably won't help either, but if your Texture Quality and Texture Filtering is set to High, could you set your Texture Quality and Texture Filtering to Standard or lower to see if it'll let you log in?

    Fiosha, many thanks for the suggestions, I explored this changing of resolution and texture, it also didn't work.
