Heavensward Job Appreciation Thread

Waited for Dark Knight since 1.0. DPS'd through 2.0, once DRK was revealed as TANK, i dropped my spear and never looked back. It was my main trough 3.0, it will be so again in 4.0. If we get to 10.0 i'll be there as Dark Knight, greatsword in hand.

Astrologian is my favourite job right now, because it's more fun than WHM. I never like playing WHM since I made my WHM to 50 at 2.0.

I like all 3 HW jobs more than the ARR alternatives for each role. Might still favor them in SB, don't know until I try out the new jobs. I feel they keep raising the bar so it will be good to have a lot of nice options.

Leveled both MCH and AST to 60. DRK is at 55 now. I am busy with university at the moment and will pick the job again to 60.
I enjoyed all of them and currently main MCH ^^

I liked DRK story most then MCH. Sorry but I skipped most ASTs sory till level 50.

AST didn't start out too hot, but it quickly became my favorite healing job. I enjoy a more supportive/healing hybrid than WHM offered and SCh wasn't too interesting for me. I love the card buffs and how they work (except for when the RNG is against you many draws in a row). Spread Balance is so satisfying, especially after the card buff.

Did DRK on my alt, but still prefer to WHM on her. I like DRK's mechanics a lot, just not huge on tanking in general anymore. I'm usually pretty relaxed when I play, and I don't set a steamrolling pace when I tank lol.

AST because I hate WHM casting animations and SCH's pet micromanagement. I'd be lying if I said Celestial Opposition and Collective Unconscious didn't draw me to the class either. I live for the moments when I can LB3 and make the whole room a planetarium (really thankful to SE for Astral Stasis!!!!). At any rate, even if I do lower DPS than a scholar, I've had fun exploring the Nocturnal Sect so far during Sophia Ex. More time for DPS, less responsibility than in Diurnal Sect.

Whm has been a smooth ride through ARR and HW. Just enough kick to kick ass and enough juice to to shake loose...srry. Its a good class to start with and healer queues make it that much better.

A scholar who can manage the pet and aetherflow will destroy astrologian in healing and dps. RNG cards just won't cut it.

Astrologian - played it since the day Heavensward came out. Even when it was much less powerful than it is now. Have loved it every minute. Personally, I think a lot of people that play it today ONLY took it up because of all the buffs, but I'm proud that I can say I was an AST lover way back at it's lovely underpowered release.
