Oh yes, a million times yes. I've wanted them to do an event for it since they announced it and I first saw 2B - and the game could do with promotion in any way possible.

My current glamour just won't do, need the real thing

In FF15's defense, Yoshida did say he wanted to do one if the opportunity arose. When asked about a FF15 event in an interview, he stated he wanted players to become familiarized with the game and the characters first (play the game) as opposed to simply having one to promote the game on release IIRC.

So a FF15 event is hardly out of the water. It's meant to be delayed if it ever happens. I personally hope it does.

Because Nier Automata will save Final Fantasy regardless if it's not related to the series, Nier Automata is the new hotness where as FFXV is pretty much under the rug now, 10 years for literally a flavor of the month game.

Phantasy Star 2 and Japan love collaborations in general, the Godzilla collab is probably my favorite
Here though with odd exception of this thread being pretty positive you hear "It's out of place!" when in reality these collabs are in their own little bubble, heck even Yokai Watch managed to make itself work in Eorzea "We're from a distant land" boom, done. Cheap and effective way to make it work

I just love collaborations in general, they've introduced me to some really nice things like Garo just recently.
