Estinien return to Dragoon Job Story? [SPOILERS]

WARNING: there will be spoilers to 3.X MSQ and 3.0 Dragoon Job Storyline.

Something just popped up in my mind while thinking about 4.0 Job storyline.

Now that Estinien's role in the Main Scenario is over do you think he may return to be a character in 4.0 and/or future X.0 Dragoon Job Storyline?

It would actually be fitting for Estinien to return as a Job Storyline character once again since he may have a few tricks up his sleave the WoL has yet to learn while also being able to help Heustinne with her current issue.

It would also give us sometime to see how Estinien is doing now he is officially retired.

Either that, or we'll get to hang out with these "proud lancer legions of Ala Mhigo" that have been mentioned but not elaborated very much upon for years.

To my understanding the devs atleast have ideas for him eventually joining the Scions and, thus, becoming a possible regular of the MSQ. While this doesn't mean he wouldn't show up in the DRG stories again I think it might not be till 5.0 that we'll see him in such again.

Maybe or maybe both. I wouldn't be surprised if we meet Heustinne again in Ala mhigo due to a Lancer Legion character learn about a mysterious Lancer while we learn from this Lancer Legion character.

Though I got this feel the Lancer Legion may get plenty of screen time in 4.0 MSQ anyways.

It seems to me that Estinien is done being a dragoon. He became one to deal with Nidhogg. Of course he can still show up for a cameo, like Karasu in the 3.0 ninja quests, but probably nothing major.

Speaking of DRG Job Quests, think anyone ever bothered to try and find Heustienne and tell her that the war's over and it's cool for her to go back to Ishgard cause Dragon Blood isn't that big a deal actually?

Depends on how much control she would have over herself if she accidently went Dragon...if I remember right if it happened things wouldn't be good for her on a mental level. That said I could see her showing up in 4.0 as well.
