    Well this is starting to leak in to EU Frontline at this time. Just had a scenario now where a group of people were camping the leaders and would not leave, constantly coming back just to general annoy.. All Ninjas as well.. (funny that).. At least they are trying to think of something to fix it.

    Don't restrict full party premades (full alliance ones are overkill though), and introduce a Homefield Advantage/Foreign Land buff/debuff (either or) within a certain range of the enemy spawns.

    Oh! I got it! "Wide Area Neurolink" Damage and healing are significantly reduced while fighting within close proximity to an enemy spawn

    I don't get how this will change anything. People will just sit outside the new "zone" and camp there.

    There is already an anti-spawn-camping mechanic in place, with the raised/inaccessible spawn points and an invincibility debuff. You do not need a solution beyond that.

    I don't feel we need another mechanic to prevent spawn camping either but the further back you push the enemy who is trying to spawn camp you the less likely they will be able to successfully do it. This is because they will have to cover a greater area to try to keep you contained which is the whole point of spawncamping. If you are able to evade them out of spawn then they fail to spawn camp you. They would need greater numbers spread out across a bigger area to keep you contained and spreading ur allies like that can Be disadvantageous to them if they are spread too thin or start losing objectives to try to keep you contained.

    I think the implication of the person you are quoting is that the other 23 people should be "getting good" as well, rather than derping around uncoordinated then posting on the forums about getting stomped by premades. This is the reality I'd like to see as well - close matches are the best matches, IMO - but I freely admit it's stupidly ideological at best. Not only do people not learn at the same rate as others, some people just don't give a good goddarn and will keep throwing themselves at content they hate just to get some pixel rewards, and there's not much anyone can do to stop them.

    That said, I don't want the removal of group queues, sorry. I don't have as much fun PVPing without my friends, it's as simple as that. If there were some guarantor that "premade" queues would be as populated as "rando" queues I'd have no problem with it, but if there's anything I know about the premade types it's that they're not interested in a fair fight, they're interested in farming 1000 wins cheevo/ADS mounts/Slaughterhouse/Hand of Mercy. So me and my buds would be sitting in a queue alone, with the option of either going solo (and wow, possibly getting matched up with one another and roflstomping randos anyway!) or just giving up on matches for the day.

    Mind you, I don't often do full 8-man premades, just because my PVP pool of close friends isn't THAT high. At most we do like 6. But we don't really want the option taken away from us to play matches together. I sympathize with the other side of this argument, I do, but with cross-realm Party Finder and freelancer queue being things now there's really not much reason people can't form their own groups of serious like-minded PVP players and work on countering premades together.

    I'm sorry guys, but with the exception that the most awesome grouping of 24 people ever assembled in FFXIV PvP got lucky enough to queue on the same GC (which would be so rare that we shouldn't even be talking about it). But other than that, you should be able to keep a team from spawn camping you.

    Stop running out into a group of 8 spawn campers with less than 8 people...or 1 person just running into the same ninja and healer over and over, seriously stop doing this and you'll be ok.

    Again, Jp datacenters queue as a 24 man group, they work very well together and can spawn camp. This isn't an NA fix, it is a JP fix. Much like fixes for most content is.

    Why don't SE just add NPC's at the spawn point that are overpowered and will attack enemy grand company's.
