My Alt wish and desire

More than anything what I enjoyed the most in other MMOs is the ability to have alts concentrating on their specific jobs (FF14 term). I only want the ability to have the alts share storage and resources rather than having just one guy be everything. I find the limitation/restriction of just having one char with multiple jobs ridiculous.
It would not be earth shattering to come up with it or that hard to implement. In other other games I have played you can.
Why can't I enjoy all races and jobs in independent characters? Makes NO SENSE at all!!

Being "everything" on one character is this game's niche. They aren't going to be changing that at all. If you want to play different races make alts or use Fantasia potions. If that still doesn't help you, maybe this game isn't for you?

I don't mind leveling a job again on an alt. I actually really enjoy leveling stuff again. But I do feel that since we are paying more for alts, we should get some special features to make it a bit easier to do things between characters.

lol I would love to just take pictures with all of my characters together. Be able to transfer items between characters more easily. SOMETHING~

I think sharing storage is fine as long as its restricted to a server by server basis, otherwise the various markets would collapse.

This is Final Fantasy XIV, and characters being able to do everything is a feature of the classic titles Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy V; the modern titles Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XII; and to a lesser extent Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XIII. In short, it's a Final Fantasy thing, and the thing this game excels at is appealing to those who have played these other games (unless you're a summoner), not "other MMOs".

Single job per character is ridiculous, that would mean a downgrade to the game and it will never happen!...

As a clever alternative just make a single alt per job and enjoy going through the MSQ as many times as the characters you want!...

On Square Enix's side, yes, they must improve the quality of life in-game by allowing alternate characters under the same account to share housing and to be able to "trade" between them, you definitely don't want to share inventory because that would mean reducing the total space available!...

In order to implement trading between alt characters (under same account) Square Enix would have to create a system where players could log in with up to eight characters at the same time (max under same world) so that they could switch between them immediately to actually "trade" items!...

Such system would also mean loads of fun for everyone, including myself!...

They could open up mail between alt characters without needing them to be logged in at the same time. Either change the rule that currently says you can only mail items to characters on your Friend list to instead say you can mail items to either Friends or alts on the same account, or else just have all your alts automatically added to your Friends list.

That is a limited way and it doesn't solve the OP's wish of being able to take screenshots of all of his/her characters together!...

SE could take that approach to make it easier for them, my suggestion is still vastly superior as it would allow us much more fun than what we currently have, relating to alternate characters of course!...

Hmm... Vastly superior? Are you sure? Because having the ability to log into 8 characters at one time seems like something a lot of people would abuse.

Also the OP didn't say anything about wanting to take screenshots of all their characters together, that was Anarnee.
