DRK Darkness questions.. help....?

Ok here is my questions.

first :Can you manifest darkness into a physical object.
Like if I throw a beam of darkness hitting someobyd in the stomach.. would it rip apart the flesh and makea hole in them . like you would if you throwd a spear through them?

second: can you control darkness like bind your enemy in shadow so they won't be able to move? not paralyse but more like if somebody had bound you with rope that type?

If you can explain to me what more darkness can and can't do, it would truly be of help^^

FIRST: The darkness employed by Dark Knights seems to behave more like magic than not. There are magicks that seem to pierce flesh like spears (See: Zephirin), though it seems clear that not all do.

Is it possible to throw a "spear of darkness" through someone? Probably. Would all darkness-based attacks do so? Probably not.

SECOND: There are several aetherial binds, so I would imagine so. Dark Knight's Unleash can bind under certain circumstances.

Whether or not the actions you have in mind have been invented or developed, yet is another story.

Well... hypothetically, yeah. Dark[ness] is, in practice, simply a school of magic, though one that's difficult to use.

Could you manifest darkness into physical objects? Hypothetically, yeah - it just depends on the density of aether and how long you can sustain it. Since the power used by Dark Knights is purely internal, it would only last a few seconds at best but... hypothetically.

We do know darkness can be used to bind - Igeyorhm does so after we defeat Bismarck so Thordan can get the key to Azys Lla. The way Dark Knights use it is almost purely for offense though, so that's another hypothetical.

The binding thing sounds like something that could be done with Darkness.

As for the manifesting physically, I would say definitely though its hard to guess for how long.

I would simply point to the lvl 50 quest where the WoL's darkness manifests physically. It leaves Fray's body at the start of the fight.
