Game crashes when logging into a character (but not alts)

When trying to load into my main character my game crashes every time, without fail. It starts to load into Idyllshire, finishes, fades up from black, crashes. This doesn't happen on my alts, although none of them are high enough level to go to Idyllshire so I am unable to see if this happens on every character in Idyllshire, but I can at least log into my alts.

I went to the SE support chat where the guy "helping" me told me to ask my ISP and ended the chat before even letting me respond. The only thing I haven't tried yet is completely reinstalling the game, and only because there are dozens of threads like mine (conveniently marked as solved but never give a solution) and all of them say reinstalling doesn't help.

I tried deleting the folder in My Games, that didn't work. I disabled my anti-virus completely. I turned off ShadowPlay. I tried running in DX9 and DX11. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers. This game worked yesterday. There were no new drivers released for the GTX 1070 today.

I'm starting to get really annoyed. If Square's own support doesn't even bother to try to help a 3+ year subscriber, what are they there for? Anyway, here are the crash logs. I would be really grateful if any of you had any advice besides what I've already tried.

So for the record, reinstalling the game did actually fix my issue. Almost nobody ever writes back when they solve their issue, so there you go. If you're having this problem maybe try that.

And when you inevitably get the errors everybody seems to get these days when patching, switch to a VPN until you download the file that's breaking, and then turn it off and continue. That's what worked for me.
