Then turn WM off and you have your lulz back and your party has lulz too after they kicked you because you didn't do dmg. But at least you jumped around like a flee.
Thus providing a very convincing reason why there should be a physical DPS without cast bars.
I would argue further, but you're not worth the letters. Have fun!
We just love hyperbole. Non-WM bards do not necessarily want to "jump around like flees". Outside of savage content, Non-WM bards do not typically get kicked from parties, and even when they do, it is not for lack of damage from not using WM. It is either because they do poor damage regardless (found with players of any job), or because somebody erroneously thinks that non-WM means "no damage" and kicks on ill-informed principle. You have just as much reason to kick players for not using food or pots in non-savage content.
You may be curious to find that your bursty Emp Arrow numbers over a dungeon run will be replaced by similar numbers from sustained autoattack if you try with and without WM.
They should, though. What's next, are you going to try and justify playing DRK with Darkside turned off?
Wanderer's Minuet is a lot more fun than Bard was prior, it doesn't need to go anywhere.
I am actually just curious, I get that BARb is simple from 1-50 but do you think its more fun b/c they slap a cast bar on it - take out all the new flashy abilities out the equation. So to you and others adding a cast bar makes Barb more fun and challenging? The cast bar doesn't even make sense. The animation is the BArb charging/aiming an arrow then why does she need it for Iron Jaws - where the BARD just waves its fingers and arm around!?
Yes, Bard is more fun to play at 52, even before it gets any actual toys. Empyreal Arrow just cements that, and more BRD abilities going forward should be given a similar behavior, like Iron Jaws.I am actually just curious, I get that BARb is simple from 1-50 but do you think its more fun b/c they slap a cast bar on it - take out all the new flashy abilities out the equation. Also if Iron Jaws' animation is somehow perplexing to you in a game with literal magic in it (on a job that has some magical affinity, no less), I think you're just looking for things to complain about.
Most of the players are complaining that they can't jump around like flees anymore, thats their main reason for the hate. You don't have any issues with movement on a BRD if you play with WM or how do you think BRD players do content with heavy movement mechanics? If needed you can even stance dance like many classes have to do too. And it is for sure that a good BRD will always do more dps with WM up than without, especially if he knows how to stance dance. We just love hyperbole. And you don't really compare a skill of a class with potions and buff food do you?
P.S. Zojha you can't take it if someone answers the same way that you do huh? Take your salt and enjoy it.
