TBH I just wish they will change the initial idea of "weapon = class/job" that was there at the beginning of FFXIV, and make so we can choose our current class/job from a menu, regardless from the currently equipped weapon (as long as the class we want to swap to can equip that weapon, of course).
Swapping classes/jobs by swapping weapon... I dunno, I never really particularly liked the idea to be honest, but maybe that's just me, in the end I guess that's not much of a difference probably, it's a very minor aspect (but still, it annoys me :P)
So that is where everyone gets the "bowharp" from, I missed that before. With the exception of the archer/bard the other jobs come from classes that use the same weapon you would expect the job to so it doesn't make much of a difference either way.
I was more wondering for future jobs such as how Yoshida mentioned he was thinking about having a thief type class with a ninja job. The thief would use daggers but ninja are known for their kunai/ninja sword class weapons. That is why I was wondering if, assuming this class/job combination is added, the ninja would be able to use daggers or if it would have its own set of special ninja weapons. If the ninja could use daggers it would somewhat go against what the armoury system has represented thus far.
I know others dislike the armoury system because of the lack of variety but I've always liked the clear distinction from the different classes.
