"Here There Be Pirates" quest stuck?

So, I just hit PGL30 so I went to do the PGL Lv30 job quest "Here There Be Pirates". All was normal up until I got to the part where you fight the pirates. I killed all of the pirates, then checked all of the treasure chests they dropped. Now I am stuck in a room that I cannot leave (yes, I realize I can teleport out).

ISP: AT&T (U-Verse)

Internet Connection Speed: 6~10MBps (I always forget the number...)
Date & Time: Nov. 24, 2011 11:45 CST
Frequency: Once (Non-repeatable quest! Sorry, I can't even try to replicate it!)

Race: Midlander Male
World: Selbina
Class/Skill Rank: Pugilist 30
Area and Coordinates: Unmapped instance ("Sailors Ward")
Party or Solo: Solo
Monster Name: Kraken Deckhand x5
In-Game Time: 15:00~ish
Steps:
1. Accept and begin the "Here There Be Pirates" quest.
2. Perform quest normally until you reach the "Sailors Ward" part.
3. Enter sailors ward.
4. Examine all the chests.
5. Enter the battlefield instance.
6. Aggro all the deckhands and kill them all. Do not examine any chests until you've killed all 5 deckhands.
7. Check all the chests that dropped.
8. ... Walk around looking for a way to get the heck out of the room. Yes, I approached both doors and completely ran along the walls hoping something would pop up asking me if I wanted to leave.

Here is a picture. It probably won't help, but it shows that I did indeed obtain the counterfeit chip mold. The only odd thing I noticed was that I obtained it from the last deckhand I killed rather than from any of the chests that dropped. This might have been what caused my issue, since the page for this quest on Eorzeapedia/Gamerscape (here) leads me to believe I was supposed to get it out of one of the chests. If I open the quest in my journal right now, it does NOT list the Counterfeit Chip Mold under "Quest Items"; it still just lists the Kraken Key.



I am going to continue standing in here until the instance kicks me out because of the time limit imposed here. I will update my thread if anything else happens that's worth mentioning (unless a GM locks it first...). Less than 10 minutes to go until my instance time expires from the time of posting this, if you want to wait.

Update: I have been kicked out of the instance due to time and then the next cutscene in the quest started immediately. So no harm done, I guess.
