Mount Pose Shock

I just hit level 30 on my white mage, and got myself unicorn mount. After riding it for 2 minutes, I hated how my male character rides it, so I decided to use Fantasia and change my character to female. As I had on another server a female that mounts sidesaddle. So I picked Highlander race for no particular reason. I was very shocked when I got into the game only to find that the mount pose was still as ugly as it was.

I don't understand why some female races ride sidesaddle a unicorn while others don't. And I just wasted a very precious item for nothing, but to make me feel regret. Should there be an option to tell players how each race mount? I don't know. I feel disappoint to a point where I considered starting over just to get that sidesaddle pose.

PS: I tried talking to GM to get Fantasia back: "Nope."

[Edit] Before you eat me, please understand that is a matter of preference. I am not by any way saying 'sidesaddle is the best, everyone should have it'.

I actually hate the sidesaddle mount pose, it feels really jarring to me, I'd prefer some short of changepose command that cahnged how you rode horse type mounts.

I think that would be fair for both sides. Because there are players who want normal ride as well.
