you could easily get away with it in the same way that Lalafell gets away with it - make it look like a child but call it an adult.

Even with this Lala are still childlike to me and that's why I (and lots of players too) don't like them, with the fact that they're noisy little pests.

Every interaction with her, depicts the character as a child, even the short cut scene.
