Can anyone play this game 1080p with max settings?

i have never encountered a game where i cannot play on high or max settings, especially on 1080p only. Is there anyone here that plays on 16xQ CSAA settings and also highest general drawing quality. My specs are i7 2600k @4.9Ghz and a GTX580, at first i thought it was lagging because i played it at 2560x1440 resolution, so i lowered it to 1920x1080 and it still has serious lag. If its like this for everyone then this game is impossible to play on max cause it doesnt even support sli i heard and u cant get any better than 580 right now.

    turn AO off.
The problem lies in an issue where AO doesnt work with directx9.

Here are my settings and computer specs. Game runs smooth as butter and looks really good imo at these settings. Definitely don't turn on AO, kills any and every card there is.

    1055T @ 3.5GHz and ATi 5850 @ 875MHz core / 1125MHz memory

    Res: 1080P
    Multisampling: 8xQ MSAA
    General Drawing Quality: 8 (Standard)
    Background Drawing Quality: 5 (High)
    Shadow Detail: High

    Ambient Occlusion: Off
    Depth of Field: Off

    Texture Quality: High
    Texture Filtering: High

    30 FPS cap.

Thanks, the AO was a big reason why it was such bad lag lol, but even with it off its impossible to stay in the high 50s to 60s fps with everything else on max. This is definitely one of the toughest games my computer struggled to run, even without any AA the gtx 580 was running 100% which is pretty funny considering crysis 2 with dx11 patch doesn't even make the gtx 580 run close to 100% at all.

Like most other things about v1.x, just try and ignore it till it's fixed in 2.0. That seems to be the mantra around here these days anyway.

If you are still at General Draw Quality 10 then that is why.

General Draw Quality sets the buffer used for frame rendering, and at 8 it is equal to your resolution, at 9 it is 1.5 times your resolution and at 10 it is twice your resolution.

So, when you were playing at 2560x1440 the game was actually rendering the frames in a 5120x2880 buffer.
