Red Mage Gear - DoM or DoW?

Has it, or may it be confirmed:

Will the armor that RDM uses be the caster pieces, currently labeled for SMN/BLM or Disciple of Magic? Or, will they use the melee pieces, usable now by all Disciple of War classes?

This information, obviously, is of critical importance.

Because, you see, we have glamours to plan. :I

it's a caster job, so it will obviously use caster gear (same as BLM/SMN, except artifact armors which are job specific)

Edit: also how are you going to plan for 4,0 glamor items, when they don't exist in-game, yet? are you assuming there will be no interesting looking gear in Stormblood, and you'll only use ARR/HW glam items?

Oh, I mean for existing gear. I've got a bunch of ACN/THM/BLM/SMN-restricted gear from dungeons lying around that don't see a lot of use right this moment, but am envisioning all kinds of possibilities for RDM, along with whatever wonderful outfits Stormblood will bring us.

I have, and shall continue to wholeheartedly subscribe to the belief that fashion is the true endgame.

To be honest, I could see them in light disciple of war, and dps magic gear. They've got a sword, and the magic skills to match both.

There are many hats and other clothes which would fit RDM, but those belong to BRD/MCH.

I can only hope they decide to "remove" the glamour restriction.
As in: You can glam anything (except weapons of course), as long as you can wear it because you have the jobs leveled. Would give us more freedome and options like that.
One of my biggest hopes for 4.0 tbh.

I'm guessing it'll either be Caster set (if INT based), or perhaps it'll use the Aiming set (if DEX based). I really doubt it'll use STR or MND.

Not happening because of Pvp IIRC (wich is stupide cause you can go there in bikini but hey...)

I'm actually wondering whether or not the main stat converts from INT to STR and vice-versa depending on stance.
