Demolishing FC House

So, my FC is going to be upgrading to a Large in a few days, and was wondering if all the Private Chambers had to be demolished beforehand. Some of these people haven't played in forever, so there's really no way for their rooms to be realistically demolished. I know some changes were made in the (recent-ish) past, but I can't find info anywhere.

As far as I know, yes they do have to be demolished. If people haven't been on the best you can do then is kick them out the FC and it'll demolish their room at the same time, although they will only have 35 days to collect their items and won't have any idea why they've been kicked out unless you mail them etc.

Couldn't see anything in the previous 3 patch notes about changes to that. You'll likely need to have people demo their rooms or kick anyone with a room and the same for those with stabled chocobos. Don't forget to snag the airship parts before demolishing the house if you have airships running.

Thanks. We're getting all that squirreled away right now. Sucks that the move is happening so close to Christmas, but when 45 days is up, 45 days is up. lol

My old FC upgraded some time ago, and if you weren't online at the time and had a room, you got a kick and a letter. Kicking does demolish the room tied to that person. Sucks, but most folks understood...it helped that the letter had 300k in it to buy a room in the new house, too.
