Zodiark server? Im alone?

Hi

So im brand new to FFXIV, and i picked the server "Zodiark". But when i level from 0 to 55, i never see anyone doing faits or anything. so my question is, what server have a high pop ?

If i wanted to level a new job, ill have a hard time atm as no one is doing faits :S

Zodiark resident here. Things are a bit dead right now due to christmas, and everyone is camping in the end zone of the game anyways. Feeling it myself grindig my last class to 50.

Can you server transfer a char? and how?

And what server are the higest POP ?

You can buy a server transfer on the mog station. But I would think about this very carefully. We are atm waiting for a new patch which usually means a down turn in activity. Plus the holidays... people are busy at home with their families. So even less there. You will probably find the same on other servers.

Try finding help through the Party Finder and see if that helps you. A good FC will make a big difference too.

FC stands for Free Company. Those are basically FFXIV's guilds. Also, if you're ever getting into hunts, try finding hunting linkshells. That can be very helpful, but depending on the server, there are times when no one is active at all.

I'm from Jenova myself and although I see A LOT of people in the three starting cities (more than I'm seeing in Ishgard now that I finally got into HW), including new characters, I definitely don't see that many people doing FATEs. That could be a thing with earlier content, as I remember seeing lots of low-level FATE runners when I tried the 14 days trial about two years ago. Anyway, I'm starting to level AST now and I'm doing that by running dailies and levequests with my chocobo. The chocobo has also been a great help with FATEs in Eastern La Noscea. The ideal approach would be trying to find people who you can level with, so that you can run dungeons and FATEs more efficiently. Leveling alone sure is slow.

Just run POTD there are always people running that. It will allow you to level without the wait. The grind is the same but at least it "seems" faster and the wait times are negligible.
