Remove the One time character restore rule!

And When I say Money I mean lets say for example, 7 years down the road we have alot of people quit and maybe a few numbers delete there character and want to make a return. If its a limit on the restore its gonna make the person who would rather have a character restored then spend 30-40$ on a jump potion and then maybe more for the story jump one as well and its gonna make SE loose some money that they could be pocketing for another expansion or a FF18 or what ever. My point is its gonna cost them later down the road.

Most people don't delete their characters when they decide to stop subscribing unless they're trying to quit for addiction reasons and want to wipe out temptation. Only SE has the numbers, but I don't imagine there's anywhere near enough people randomly deleting their characters more than once to assign the storage and manpower needed to make the changes you're requesting. As for the Chinese and Korean outfits, yes, quite a few people were asking for those. So far it's just you on this one.

Yes Its me alone so far, But I am doing what the GM's always say. "IF you have a suggestion you would like to see in the game please post it in the forums and we will look into it" So thats what I am doing, As stated before your opinion is really needed as this was a suggestion ment for the company not anyone else.

Community feedback from everyone else on your suggestion is also vital and taken into account by SE. Saying our opinion isn't really needed is just going to make SE more likely to discard your idea is more likely to make SE throw it into the trash. I know if someone posted an idea and said "nobody else's input is needed" because they all disagreed with the OP, I, and I am someone who has done software development before, would say "Nope! Forget it!" and you wouldn't get your wish.

There was BIG money to be had there. Here, there's virtually none to be made. And I daresay more to be lost by the time taken away FROM other GM calls because of this. Also, nobody said "Your opinion isn't needed" just because they were for/against jump potions. Discussion was a lot more open there.

There is money to be made from a mogstation feature charging a fee for a character restore, No one but SE as another stated knows how many people delete there characters or request restores so you nore I can claim Right or wrong on that, But the fact is this change and feature wouldnt cost much let alone effect the gms anymore then a normal gm call already does.

Jump Potions have nothing to do with this topic. There were plenty for and against it, there are other language forums besides the English forums, and for something that isn't finalized and implemented it is still considered speculation.

In my opinion, the system works as intended. The process of deleting a character with the prompts gives fair warning and little chance of accidental deletion. On top of this, they allow a one time recovery.

Players have the options of appearance changes, name changes, and server transfers. While the Lodestone ID is the same, Lodestone has privacy options. There is blacklisting, an in-game reporting system, and local authorities depending on the circumstances.
