Remove the One time character restore rule!

I wouldn't Mind a charge for a restore at all honestly, My whole issue is not getting a free restore it's this, They are gonna allow jump potions to be sold soon that will boost your instantly to 50+ and complete the story line up till HW, Yet they will not change the one time restore policy or even offer a character restore for a fee.

I am just not seeing the connection between jump potion and character restoration. They are 2 completely different cases.

They don't go threw the trash for a character, The data is tied to the SE ID till its deleted by SE them selfs all they do is match details to what your requesting restore and whats closest on the id file.

I didn't mean literally the trash but thank you for the clarification. The difference here is that someone has to manually give back you the access to your character, whereas level-boosting a character will be an automated process. Allowing infinite character restoration would take more manpower than it currently does, and I for one would love if they used that manpower on fighting bots and RMT.

I highly Doubt it will strain the GM Team anymore then a normal GM call already does.

You really don't know how game data is handled, do you? Once deleted, data can be kept for a small time frame. After that, its scattered. MERELY impossible to restore after that.

To contribute:

If you think about deleting your character because you just want to escape an abusive group or relationship, you have far more problems than that.
Personal experience, I've been harassed and such. Been out of a bad relationship. Learn to cope in other methods than deleting your character for no reason.

How you derailed this thread to a jump potion thread is beyond me. Gather your words before posting.

can't they just stop playing the game by their own will? If they have something important in real life to deal with but they still can't stop playing games then I'm doubt they'll be able to solve those real life stuffs.

If you decided to delete your character more than once that is a decision that is entirely your problem, not SE's or anyone elses. You could easily leave it alone and take a break, unsubscribe from the game, then come back later to find your character still waiting for you.

Jump potions coming in to this makes no sense either. You aren't being forced to buy anything: just level up your new character like a normal person and do the story and re-find whatever friends you threw away when you decided that you were going to do something as heavy-handed as /erasing a person who has been through so much from existence/

think things through better next time.

You receive 0% sympathy for regretting it after the fact. I do feel bad for the character that was thrown in to the void repeatedly however..
