    So much hope for 4.0 but yet....

    I have a feeling that 4.0 might not go out of this horrible endgame formula and weekly restrictions this game has to offer so far.
    I really wish on the inside that Yoshida fixes the problem he is so aware of or else 4.0 will be fun for 1-2 months before we are back at our horrible

    well we'll see. he's said he's got plans that we haven't seen yet prior to 4.0, but ya i wouldn't build some unrealistic expectations yet.

    This is my biggest fear too. We need more to endgame than just tome grinding and gearing up

    only endgame changes i really care about is removing unspoiled nodes, theres no point in adding majority of the items needed behind a time wall

    What id like to see, is something kinda like Diadem nodes, except ofc Stealth not working.
    Where its a fight for survival to reach the node. My question is, why do we not have deep caves and mines on the overworld? The only thing we have is the kobolds in Outer La Noscea, Or the dragon area NW in the Forelands. Why not make 1 or 2 nodes that spawn inside these caves? Where we have to fight creatures to reach them, then switch to a DoL class to gather.

    This game is lacking the adventure and mystery aspect of an RPG. I guess maybe FF15 has opened my eyes to a few possibilities in terms of fishing and gathering lol.

    The 1 hour window for nodes is absolutely ridiculous too, or should i say "55 eorzean minutes."

    Always they don't put roll on lots with RNG, it is okay. RNG sucks, and it is unfair in the end.

    They never said the new raids would have tomes. They just said that there were raids.

    Idk, the current content reveals we've seen thus far have all pointed very heavily towards "more of the same (except some of it is underwater!)". New raid, new 24-man raid, new jobs to level grind, new beast tribe to bore us to death with dailies...

    I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but right now pretty much all the content we've been shown is content we've seen before. It's not unreasonable to assume that their purpose in the gearing hierarchy would be the same too.

    My biggest concern is a bulk of their development goes towards the gimmick of content underwater. If Blitzball ends up being announced, I won't see that as a good sign things are changing. Although, I am still cautiously optimistic, they haven't exactly showcased much variety from the standard. That may be alright, provided there is a decent challenge and enough content as a whole. Six bosses for the raid tier? Now that would be a step in the right direction.
