That would be pretty awesome actually, I like that color combination of the regular skintone, green eyes and brown(ish) hair for the fairy.
Another thought that comes to mind is that the Fairie could take on the skintone, eye color and hair color of the scholar who they serve.
I actually think it is really unfair to SCHs, and a waste of resources, to create an entire pet glamour system and only apply it to one of the three pet jobs (I understand not applying it to MCH, but SCH is very viable). I hope the devs reconsider this, and actually use this system to its fullest potential.
To the people saying about lore, lore can be changed and expanded. Nymian technology given to the player in order allow Lily to more easily traverse the world undetected. The technology works like a glamour prism and changes Lilys aetherial signiture to allow her to blend in. (took 2 minutes to think of and is horribly hashed together, the devs can do even better). If you think that lore suggestion is stupid and not viable (spoilers for the beast tribe ally quest):
That quest had a sylph that disguised herself as a human, and SCH fairy glamour makes no sense in the lore?

Let my fairy be replaced with a tiny lalafell WHM with wings
Again, I'm all for SCH to get glamour on their fairies but lorely speaking (yeah, don't know if the expresion is correct but I like it ^^") it would not work and, as it means more work for SE, I would not be surprised if they use this as a excuse :/
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Lilly is a construct. She is summoned just like a carbuncle, stitched together with astral and umbral aether... but shes special. She has memories and a tiny little personality. Why? As the scholar, we are using our job stone as a flash drive for Lilly's memories. We aren't summoning some entity from another world. She is an advanced learning carbuncle of our predecessors' design that stores her experiences into the job stone.
Lilly is her memory, not her form.
I thought she was a living creature in fact like idk, one SCH stone, one proper fairy attached to it, ours being Lily, the other SCH being....idk....Mimy and so when Carby is just a creation we make from the aether and not a proper living thing isn't it ?Lilly is a construct. Carbuncles are stones given aether and form.
Egis are the energy from a primal that have tainted part of a being's soul (probably misread or misunderstood what the book was saying).
Faeries are memories of past mages given life through aether, using the stone as an anchor.
Lily was the name of Surito Carito's faerie from his particular Soul of the Scholar that we find. Lily is a special case as she does have a personality and intelligence, but cannot communicate.
Like some kind of ghost in fact ? (fairies)Carbuncles are stones given aether and form.

1 mage -> all his memories in one fairy or each memory is a different fairy ? (pretty compliacted ^^")
So in fact fairies are as "stupid" and empty as Carby except for Lily ?

Considering how this is merely SE's way of compensating for not providing new playable Pets, if things had gone as intended SCHs would've been stuck with same two Pets regardless whilst SMNs would've had a wider choice. Making it SMN only works because that Job's theme (unlike SCH) is having access to multiple Pets, which they're representing via this glamour system, so to call it 'unfair' is silly. Also nothing's really stopping you from playing SMN if you like seeing the Carbuncles so much.
