IMO it doesn't look anything like dragoon's jump or ninja's assassinate but much more like plunge/repelling shot - which are entirely different.

Or even Shoulder Tackle + Repelling Shot, but only in the forward/backward motion. The animations look entirely different. The video doesn't give me any "magic Dragoon" feelings at all, in fact it looks to me like it could offer some unique gameplay.

I'm excited.
