What he meant regarding that was they were working on FOUR jobs at once..Ninja, MCH, AST and DRK. He said they will most likely never do that again. But 3 jobs is okay, and it also does look like we are getting 3 jobs:

AST was announced without a hint, no one knew it was coming. So there is still a chance of getting 3 jobs.

The devs have openly said they'll never do another job during a patch again. It caused far too much stress on the team due to all the balancing requirements. Apparently, job development takes nearly a full year, which is probably why the Heavensward jobs were so poorly implemented upon HW's release. My guess is the next expansion will follow with only two additional jobs but instead of two DPS, it'll be a tank and healer.

My guess would be no new healer job, which really upsets me. I remember pre HW, they said that it sucked making three classes and they weren't gonna do that again. It would seem odd to me if they teased RDM at US, confirmed RDM at JP and teased whatever spiderman means, and then confirmed TWO more jobs at EU. More likely is that they will just confirm whatever Spiderman means at EU and we'll just get two jobs in 4.0. I'm not claiming to know what Spiderman means, but I can't see any rational explanation that results in a healer. My best guess is that its either the Sam Rami thing and it means Samurai as a tank, or they're gonna do some sort of blue mage/beastmaster type thing as a dps. My money is on tank though, because it would be odd to release two dps and zero tanks or healers. Although they may do a mid expansion job release for a new healer, kinda like they did with NIN?

This is what I'm betting on. They probably regret having had 3 new jobs to balance right out of the gate in 3.0 and will postpone one for a few patches.

Of course we could just be getting trolled by Yoshi and Team, but we'll see.

Not sure, but even if they did, they might have changed their minds after tackling 3.0's huge balance issues at launch.
