It has already been said, but Samurai healed and buffed in Final Fantasy Tactics. They healed and buffed in the PSP version of Tactics Ogre as well. Healers also DPS in this MMO, so there is plenty of reason for a healer to weild a Katana and use it. As much as some of you think this thread may be a joke, there is already plenty of examples of Samurai healers in the Final Fantasy realm.
You cannot take anything for granted, change eventually swallows everything you may try to immortalize.

There aren't too many ways to make a healer interesting. This could be one way.
You bind a spirit or multiple spirits into your katana. You spend TP on sword strikes that build up your MP and use MP to unleash the spirits that heal, buff resurrect and so on.
