Someone made mention of it before but an increase is still an increase. All it takes is for a job or role to appeal to someone in order for someone to just try and perhaps enjoy it and stick to it.That might be true, but how many do so consistently? Relying on data that shows that people got tanks to 60 isn't quite the same as how many got to 60 and are still reliably playing as one. I got two to 60, but refuse to tank unless two of the other party members are in the FC, and even then getting me to tank is a bit of a stretch.

Right, but yet that doesn't diminish any of the responsibility that comes with tanking, which is what typically pushes people away from the role. If we're talking about the health of the game then it would be in their interest to make SAM; which is typically one of the fan favorites, a DPS in attempt to pull more new people into the game that then could try out all the different roles, than to make SAM a tank that may not have as big of a draw.
At least that's how I see it in my eyes.
Don't get me wrong, I see it that way too but we also can't just make every new class a DPS or else those who enjoy tanking will eventually get bored too and new people seeing nothing new to try, may still refuse to try tanking. That and I can only imagine the massive wait times like when Ninja was released.Right, but yet that doesn't diminish any of the responsibility that comes with tanking, which is what typically pushes people away from the role.
