Tanking is boring. #FACT

Not that I disagree, but the solution isn't to ignore the problem. By giving people more options for how to tank and making the role more fun in general (whether it be through combat mechanics, job overhauls, or whatever), more people will naturally want to tank.

Unless hell freezes over, healers and especially tanks will always be the least played roles no matter what the developers do, but the problem will only get worse if they were to ignore it. Adding two dps jobs and nothing else seems like a good way to make things worse because now you'll have career tanks and healers leveling those jobs and not tanking or healing.
