Just FYI, I speak Japanese fluently... and the only "source" you linked where he even mentions BLU is the first link. And in there, he mentions NOTHING close to what he said in 2014. He talks about how Blue Mages are interesting because of how they defeat monsters to learn abilities, and how when they implement BLU in the future, it won't be a solo-only job because that wouldn't be interesting in an MMO, but it would be more akin to a "Monster Expert" class.

Well then you clearly don't speak Japanese as well as you think you do then because while the second article doesn't specify Blue Mage, it's still talking about the same moment during the panel, and I don't know how you didn't see 青魔道士(Blue Mage) in the third one either

I speak and read it fluently also. Took Japanese for over 16 years since I was a little kid...and I got a bit of different info then that outta it. Also the part where he spoke (not an interview or summary) is in the "Naoki Yoshida Room" segment of the paid stream. He absolutely said we won't be seeing it any time soon.

First, if we're going to compare credentials, I've been speaking Japanese for 20 years and have been living in Japan for 8 years and my wife (who is Japanese) is the one I check with about the paraphrase I wrote above.

I don't have access to the paid stream, but in the three articles Shippuu linked, there were no mentions of anything close to what he said in 2014. I can translate what he said in the first article for you and him if you'd like:

"The collection playstyle of Blue Mage is incredibly interesting. I've been thinking I want to somehow have Blue Mages in the field, and thinking that the type of playstyle involving fighting monsters solo to learn abilities might not be that interesting. In the near future, I'm thinking it won't be a solo-only job [referencing his previous comments from 2014], but there will be a Blue Mage whose role will be more of a "Monster Expert" I think."

Regardless of finer points of translation you might disagree with, nothing he says is at all similar to what he said in 2014. Nothing about it "not being for a long time" or "making it a solo-only class".

I disagree that the evidence is weak and unsubstantial. There are two interviews which he talks directly about the T-Shirt. In both he mentions webs and webbings. The only job in the Final Fantasy series that actually uses webs in any shape or form is Blue Mage. This doesn't mean that Samurai won't happen in Stormblood, but it does mean that the T-Shirt references Blue Mage, not Samurai.

I just rechecked the second article, and there was nothing more than a small blurb about NA players speculating about one of the new jobs being Blue Mage and how Yoshida thinks learning gameplay is interesting and was considering making it a solo-only class. Again, nothing about being the distant future, quite the opposite, the near future (将来的).

The third article doesn't even quote Yoshida's words about Blue Mage, just paraphrases (technically, neither does the 2nd), and they even misquote the intended paraphrase. And again, even in the inaccurate paraphrase, it says nothing close to what was said in 2014.

No, you have one article quoting Yoshida's exact words that say that he's thinking it won't be solo-only but will change to more of a "Monster Expert", and you have other articles, one of which references YP's statements from 2014, and another which inaccurately paraphrases what Yoshida said in the interview where the first article makes the correct quote.

Hey commented this (and beastmaster) would come in 10 years, this is reported everywhere, even during the reddit live translations by someone I trust far more with the translations than you.

2 of the 3 articles I posted state he said it was going to be a solo job, here's a third (as well as another 10 years one), and a fourth and I'm sure I can dig up more. So considering there's an abundance reporting on him saying he wants it as a solo job, and only a single one saying he said he didn't, you have no place to say anything like which one is the "intended" one, or which one is Yoshida's "exact words".

Well if this is true theres also Tamer, which was basically like a Trapper. Very similar to BLU in fact they both debuted in FFV
