My own "grasping at straws" take (because most are atm anyway) is that "Spider Man" is a just straight forward reference to Ravana ,an anthropomorphic insect hence the closest thing to a "Spider Man" in ffxiv, and he seems like a Samurai.

If Samurai had an arsenal of blades as it's weapon I would cry of joy.
I doubt it will be a single Katana and nothing else. Even if it's a Katana + Scabbard it would be sweet. Just don't want a Great Katana/Katana with nothing else, but we'll see!
