ROFL Thats dumb, yes I know how they would do it, and idc how hard you want to believe it, it wont be a legit blu. Hence the fact it would be a travesty and a train wreck. a BLU who doesnt have to learn from the monsters... it just knows the attacks and you have to use them all in a specific order... good lord that sounds sooooo bad... WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT THAT?

You've worked yourself up to the point where you've lost sight of what Blue Mage is really about. And I'm just gonna spell it out: It's not about the chore of learning magic from enemies, it's about the actual use of enemy abilities. Please note that I did not specify Monster Abilities, I said Enemy Abilities. Blue Mages are perfectly capable of reverse-engineering abilities from other humans and machines alike. Terminus Est, anyone? How about Diffractive Laser?

And what difference does it make how you get the abilities? Once you learn it, you have it forever. You should be looking at the job for what it does at max level, not complaining about how it's not arbitrarily more or less true to how you feel it "should" learn its spells. What matters is which moves are selected and how they interact together as a cohesive moveset.
