Astrologian has existed before it was in tactics, and bravery second.

Bravery came after, but I'll give you Tactics, I forgot the Twins. Either way its a very small number compared to the two being argued. My thesis stands though, numbers don't matter.

By name, Astrologian appeared once. Final Fantasy Tactics' Astrologer's JP name is different by one character from modern Astrologian's, but the name is the same (and slight tweaks to how a job is spelled out aren't really uncommon, either).

Astral Stasis, the LV3 Limit Break ability of Astrologian, takes its name from Celestial Stasis, to the point where the JP names are identical (星天停止). Celestial Stasis was an ability of Astrologer in Final Fantasy Tactics.

On top of this, Astrologian borrows heavily from Time Mage, as well as Oracle. Astrologian isn't new, it's just a creative package of several jobs that couldn't stand on their own.

Really amarant you're creating false samurai characters BLU and SAM are pretty much on par in introductions into the series doesn't mean samurai has appeared more than BLU.

Yes but BLU main mechanic is learning/using monster magic. The main mechanic for SAM is their katana.

In FF Tactic A2, there is a job called White Monk (and there is Master Monk too). I mean, colors are not only assigned to mages.
So because we are struggling for Samurai and Blue Mage, I propose and predict the job Blue Samurai !

That'll be our tier 3 LB, We line up for just the right shot, and then BAM! Death Star Laser in the enemy's face! Or we swipe it and then explosions like Valefor laser! That sounds better!
