4 more days, weNo i was not singling you out specifically, if i had i would have addressed you as such. By and far the argument "Yoshi said..." is used far to often by far to many and finished far less so. I only felt it is ignorant and a disservice, for so many to quote a partial comment as gospel. You took the time ta at least add a link to the interview so as to provide the Full comment.
I'll be happy to put this issue to rest when the last Job is reveled, regardless of role or number.
ll know for sure.
Oh I thought you were, my bad then :P. Thanks for clarifying~ I'm used to reading people slyly responding to others without quote so that's what I thought was going on, I get your context much better now (people abusing fragments to get the story they want). Yeah I wasn't trying to say Yoshida said it'll be Tank or DD, just that we're sort of in the air right now. That was all :3.No i was not singling you out specifically, if i had i would have addressed you as such. I'll play Samurai regardless if it's tank or DD so the role isn't that important to me, but if tank I would like to see a Katana wielding DD at some point later then - people been posting dual wielding Samurai and stuff I don't care, anything is good. Perhaps one job is Katana and scabbard, and the other is two Katanas or Odachi/Nodachi (big freaking two handed Katanas).
Can't wait till the event, it'll be exciting to see what they reveal - and also to see what the forums will do hehe.

Pretty dramatic and ignorant statement you have here. Not everyone is being ignorant when they cannot recall every single detail of an article they read a year and a half ago. Not everyone is being malicious and trying to get the story they want, as you are implying. Some people, myself included, simply remember the general idea surrounding something they read in the past.No i was not singling you out specifically, if i had i would have addressed you as such. But, hey why doesn't it surprise me someone here would try to villainize something that was written with no ill intentions.
Dramatic is a matter of opinion, ignorant is a statement that is unfortunately true. You obviously have access to the internet so you have the very same tools that i do to confirm your statements. The ability to conduct research is a skill taught to grade schoolers (information easy enough to gain with in two minutes), so yes i will vilify that laziness/ignorance, i mean your only misrepresenting another person by stating their comment partially to strengthen your view point.Pretty dramatic and ignorant statement you have here. If people can't remember the statement properly and don't want to search for it they shouldn't go around claiming "Yoshi says".
That seems like a pretty fair request to me.

I'm pleasantly surprised to find someone with the ability to think rationally! Yes, you have your own personal thoughts/theories/desire, but you're still able to put them aside for a moment to think about other possibilities. /saluteI assume you're talking about me since I referenced his comments recently, in which I'd point out I was using his stance on Samurai to show that it isn't "definitely going to be tank" and is still up in the air. And while he doesn't personally design every little thing in the game, as he can't and that's not how big game companies work, he could absolutely say "I want it DD, make it DD" and that would be the end of the story. So his opinion definitely matters.
I don't feel like he will make it DD or tank for sure (things change, etc, etc), but for people who are posting like "it's going to be tank" there is more to say it isn't decided or fixed than to say it is. It was not some offhand comment saying that it was going to be DD/Tank for sure, just that I don't see where people's confidence is coming from rather than just their own wish that it would be (due to DF, or personal role they'd like it to be) - as a lot of people seem to be posting it as a matter of fact. Personally would not be shocked if it was DD or Tank.
I would be surprised if it was a healer though, that'd catch me off guard.. lol.
Like you, I was expecting SAM to be a tank, especially after Yoshi's comments about the job just before the launch of 3.0. However, after reading that same comment, I have been now considering the possibility of SAM being a dps. My personal wishes are that it'll be a dps, but I'm expecting it to be a tank.
And yet my post a page or two back was actually a pretty concise synopsis of the interview. The one piece of information that I did not remember (and quite frankly don't care) was him talking about how he wasn't sure if they would go the DPS or tank route with SAM.Dramatic is a matter of opinion, ignorant is a statement that is unfortunately true. So if you think it's ignorant, so be it. However it's no more ignorant than you claiming to know a complete stranger's intentions.
The most amusing part of this is the assumption I am misleading facts hoping SAM is a certain role. The reality is I don't care one bit about SAM and have no interest in the job no matter what role it takes. But, carry on speculation on people's intentions.
For me, even though I prefer SAM tank as a tank player, I also like dps possibility. That is mainly because I like SAM anyways and also because I never had an interest to gear a dps as alt before.
With the above being said, SAM will either be another tank on my arsenal or my first actual dps alt option. Thus, win-win in a sense.
However, what I do fear is the possibility of not getting SAM at all.
It is highly unlikely that there will not be SAM at all, slight chance not in Stormblood but it will be implemented eventually.
Even though i myself think Sam is way overhyped, lol
Dancer or riot!
