Then he goes on to say, "But if we made job-specific swimsuits for each job, I wonder how many that would be." To which he then says, "Oops, I can't say". Because if he said, then we would know how many new jobs there would be in 4.0.

That's weird... because saying how many role specific swimsuits wouldn't hint at how many new jobs we're getting unless their adding a new role. DPS, Tank and Healer, the only 4th role you could fit into that is Support. Or if we look at it from Melee, Ranged Physical, Ranged Magical, Tank and Healer. Is RDM gonna to create a new role? Like Hybrid... but I'm 100% sure it's Ranged Magical. I'm not doubting your translation but this seems a little odd.

Edit 2: Interesting translation though, and makes a lot of sense. You can see how people mistranslated and misinterpreted this information. Better question though is why wasn't this translated sooner? You'd think the translating community would catch on when this information has spread like wildfire. Ah well.
