This is my reasoning why the other job is not likely to be BLU. The amount of work BLU will require to make it how the players expect it to be requires an overhaul of the entire game database. Every monster would have to be modified to make abilities learn-able from them. I can imagine how the job would work. you would have base action types slots and you would be able to learn different monster ability to fill those slots. It won't have the customization as FFXI's BLU but you will get a job that can be configured to fill all roles. But probably limited to only playing one at a time with some cross over ability. meaning of the available monster abilities in a slot, some abilities are role locked. Also due to the fact that BLU can play all roles, when they release it, it would be the only job added in that expansion, for the point of job balance.

My reasoning for getting 2 jobs is right now we need a support job and a caster job to bring balance to all job roles. right now we have 3 tanks, 3 healers, 3 dps, 2 support, and 2 casters. sadly with 5 different roles, they really should rebuild parties to 5 light, 10 full. But I don't see that happening.
