Right back at you Frakenbeans. Ignoring data files thinking they are a red herring, and so on and so on. Oh, here are a few more 'numbers' for you:Projection thy name is Dorander
Yes I am in complete agreement with you. You'll see what you want and dispute anything that doesn't fit with your own mental narrative. No point in trying to to convince you otherwise. Yup I cannot wait till February when it is finally revealed. My birthday is during the Fan Festival and my birthday wish is that everyone will be happy and excited for the revelations and come together as a community as we all love and support this game. Here's hoping birthday dreams do come true.
1. Final fantasy 7 - Sephiroth
2. Final Fantasy 9 - Amarant has both monk and samurai skills. So, as you brought up, could be a hybrid. However, if you want to nix the hybrids.. That's up to you.
3. Brave Exvius - Cyan
4. Final Fantasy XV - Cor Leonis
5. Theatrhythm - Auron
6. They are enemies in final fantasy Legend 1
7. They are enemies in final fantasy legend 3
So, adding those 6 (with your subtraction and assumption I was talking about Steiner) That increases Samurai's "representation" Up to 27. (or if you scrap the hybrids - 26 to your 24 for blue mage)
So, please.. continue along with your hopes for BLU. Maybe you'll get your birthday wish, or maybe you'll be disappointed.

I think you may be a little angry at this point. You shouldn't be nor do I want you to be upset. I thought we were past the counting jobs part. I never saw sephiroth or someone in FF9 use gill toss or bushido. So is it that they have a katana they are a samurai, wouldn't just giving warrior or dark knight a katana satisfy your samurai definitionRight back at you Frakenbeans. If we go that route, SMN is BLU, because you absorb the primal's powers and gain their aether by fighting themI think you may be a little angry at this point. Not necessarily, gil toss is a traditional SAM skill, along with a few others.
Nah, not angry. Just proving a point. Fine: in 7 Cloud does get a katana weapon and the level 2 ability from the throw materia (you brought up the enemy skill materia for blue) is gil toss. Does that make him a Samurai? I can twist things just as far. There are quite a few skills shared by current jobs as monsters out in the world. Can't you just glamour on your Thavnairian Bolero set and RP that you are a Blue Mage? See, how easy that is? Be a white mage or a black mage and say you learned Aero and stone from the wind / earth elementals. Or Fire and Blizzard from the fire/ice elementals.I think you may be a little angry at this point. Exactly my point.

Which jobs share monster skills. Forgive me as I wasn't aware that any current job uses beast magic. The Thavnairian Bolero looks pretty cool but Blue mages have only appeared middle eastern in Final Fantasy 11 so Blue mage doesn't have to look middle eastern. Not necessarily, gil toss is a traditional SAM skill, along with a few others.

So if both Blue mage and Samurai are satisfied by their respectice glamour capabilities; We can now assume that the Spiderman shirt can be a reference for Dancer or Beast Master. Those are some awesome jobs too![]()
Do you also think Dancer and Beast Master are cool possibilities?
Jobs that share monster skills: White Mage, Black Mage, Summoner (I mean Deathflare is Ahk Morn) Dancer could also be satisfied with glamour capabilities. Just be a monk, and type /dance. It would be exactly what those who have been insisting about it since the trailer saw.Which jobs share monster skills. Forgive me as I wasn't aware that any current job uses beast magic. As for Beast Master - At best, it would work exactly like summoner. I highly doubt we'll be getting either (DNC and BST) any time soon though. Might as well toss in the other off the wall theories: Chemist, Geomancer, Corsair (yes, people think that), Photographer - new crafting/gathering job... Do you honestly think any of those have a chance?
I don't believe Ahk Morn was ever a blue mage spell. Blue magic is a very specific set of abilities like Might Guard, Goblin Punch or Bomb toss. But I do love your other job ideas.Jobs that share monster skills: White Mage, Black Mage, Summoner (I mean Deathflare is Ahk Morn) Dancer could also be satisfied with glamour capabilities. Those are all cool class ideas. I wouldn't say its impossible that they show up as they are Final Fantasy jobs. Thank you for sharing them and I'm glad you think those jobs are cool too!

Monster skills are abilities unique tied to a specific monster or family. Magic is not a monster skill, it's a skill utilized by intelligence based monsters and enemy NPCs. We know exactly what identifies as monster skills, stop trying to act ignorant to not prove a point.
The attempts at trying to count where jobs are and aren't referenced is going nowhere, as y'all can't decide what is and isn't, so just stop.
Clearly when we see the shirt we only see Spider-Man, and he gains his super powers through a spider. This is obvious. But we're not thinking about the man behind the mask! Peter Park, freelance photographer. Now we joke about Photography being a DoL/DoH, but obviously we were too far apart.
But this is most certainly an indication that XIV shall bring back the glorious art of Pankration! That's right, we are going to be getting a class that will utilize the art of ripping the souls out of monsters and using them as our own source of power. Now wait, you might be wondering how exactly? Clearly we look no further than the updated version of FFVI! A dear beloved character known as Relm (A character we have a minion of already, if you didn't know) uses the art of Pictomancy to copy enemy abilties by sketching them! In a more modernized form we shall have photographic powers to claima nd copy monster powers! (This will also be great for the FFXV tie in, a Prompto-themed item the ladies and lads will love.)
