Did you also notice the new monk gear looks like a blue version of the FFT monk outfit? I hope as a nod to 3.x and FFT all the new AF gear is based off the Tactics gear. One last hoora before we move into FFVI territory.

My money is on the sister. If you read the lore book her mention is pretty suspicious. They make it a point to say they left Ala Mhigo together then it doesn't mention her again. Hard to explain, just felt like a set up for me.

Yup! The fact that they mention her alone tells me that we have not seen the last of her. I remember at Vegas fan fest when Koji Fox was asked about her and why Yda's sister is mentioned in the lore book, he made a funny surprised face

Yes I noticed that also, about the MNK gear looking like FFT Seeing as how he has Matsuno on board making an Ivalice themed raid, perhaps he influenced it a bit as well!
