Again, this seems like a muted argument to make. Its like if the fight were between two mages, one with a White Glow around them, the other with a Black Glow around them.

Thats...not a great rebuttal. Monks are a SPECIFIC Job in this game, and the woman in red fights like one. Its easy to believe she is a Monk instead of a new Job who's fighting style is extremely similar to Monk.

Meanwhile your argument makes it more obvious that one would be a White mage and the other Black Mage while only saying "mage", and even then it would be a correct presumption because its obvious the character is a Mage.

Ok, but they didn't show off any of the new jobs in any of the announcement trailers. No smn/sch, nothing from 3.0. It makes sense, as 3.0 featured drg, and the trailer showed drgs, and 4.0 is supposed to make monk the main focus, and thus, trailer shows monks.
