Even better, it's like 9 am and I'm running on nothing but yeah this point as well. If it's a BLU only weapon he wouldn't be able to wield it unless he was one himself.

It's very possible.

No matter how you look at it though, no matter how he got it, he has it and that means something. His abilities and actions mean something so I don't think they should be dicredited. I think it would actually be very interesting if it was BLU and he had a part in your Job quest.

Now again, despite my vouching for BLU I'm not against SAM being the choice for the other class if that is what ends up being chosen. I just personally think BLU would work far better with what we have to work with, even if it means being released alongside RDM.

I think Yoshi's biggest hint is that he wanted to keep the red theme on his spiderman shirt. Why? I believe he wants you to think Red Mage because spiderman also has blue on his outfit. So im guessing he was trying to lean our thinking to a mage.

Obviously like others said Spider=Creature and spiderman got his powers by being bit by a spider and now uses the spider powers.

I think the samurai theory is valid but not consistent. Why would Yoshi simply not use Katana from DC or a more direct (and less vague) hint? The most logical explanation i can see to justify samurai is that he was hinting at both Blue Mage and Samurai.

Honestly, the more I think about it, the more basic it seems. Spiderman is outfitted in red and blue. It could be as simple as that.

The other thing, is didn't they originally say back before Heavensward that they were trying to decide between Dark Knight and Samurai, and they chose Dark Knight. If we are really only getting 2 new jobs, what would be more likely a tank and a DPS, or two DPS?

The rising event had 2 npc's talking to each other about red and blue mage while the yoshida npc mentioned samurai and red mage. There may be 2 jobs but they hinted at 3.
