From what we collected from Yoshi, BLU might happen in the future. If for some reason it happens now, it will be but an implement to another job.

It's going to be four jobs.
Samurai = Melee DPS (Tank), Katana/ Wakazashi(used in stance change/ crtain skill use)
Blue Mage = Melee DPS, Two Swords/ Shamshir
Red Mage = Ranged DPS, Rapier+Magiked Crystal Medium
Dancer = Melee DPS (Melee Healer), Hidden Gauntlet Blade/ Fans
...
We could also looking into what has been in development for the game since day 1. and I don't means FFXIV:ARR. I'm talking FFXIV Alpha back in 2010. I can't find it anymore but the Japanese player that made FFXITool made FFXIVtool for FFXIV. they had a page on their site which detailed the job/class list from the Alpha. It listed out a bunch of classes and the weapons they used. The class list was pruned when the beta started.
It included these jobs that were not put into the game at the time.
Arcanist -
Assassin -
Bard -
Enforcer - Clubs
Fencer - Rapiers
Flayer - Whips
Musketeer - Guns
Mystic -
Samurai -
Shepherd - DoL raising pets
Stavesman - uses staves
also in the list were
Gladiator
Marauder
Archer
Pugilist
Lancer
Conjurer
Thaumaturge
I believe Arcanist became SMN/SCH
Mystic is likely AST
Assassin is NIN
Musketeer is MCH
DRK isn't even on the list. Unless it is using the Stavesman class, which is somewhat reaching. I don't know what stavesman was supposed to be other then they used staves.
Bard got merged into Archer for the BRD job.
This leaves use with Enforcer, Fencer, Flayer, Samurai, and possibly Stavesman
Fencer is becoming RDM, which is the only thing we have confirmed until the next fan fest.
as to which job spiderman is implying I don't know. could it be Samurai? or could it be Flayer?
Nocturne of the Gods
Kiu mondo estis nomita Vana'diel. Nia mondo, Vana'diel.
Just gonna clear up a few things.
Arcanist became the class that precedes SMN/SCH
Musketeer currently still only exists as a NPC frame. Merlwyb and any other NPCs wielding the double barreled pistols. This existed also in 1.0 for our characters, but only during a cutscene.
Right before HW the framework for SAM was remodeled into DRK. They decided DRK would fit the theme better and did quick adjustments to what would have been SAM as a Large Two-handed style tank.
The rest is still unknown, but these few are confirmed as we know.

The jobs/classes themselves have changed heavily since 1.0 so I'm not sure an old list of names would be an accurate guide into the minds of a development team under a completely different direction. And given the state that 1.0 was in on release, saying that these things have been in development since day 1 is generous.
I mean the Conjurer on that list was more of BLM/WHM combo than it currently is. A lot of it's elemental magic was thrown on to THM in 1.21. ACN with it's dots now is closer to what THM originally was than THM is now. Musketeer and MCH are still separate entities in the game. That list was pruned before beta. The implemented classes were changed on 1.21 and then they were furthered altered for 2.0. I don't think it holds up any more as a way of looking at upcoming jobs. If anything, the similarities in weapons are because as the second Final Fantasy MMO, SE isn't going to entirely reinvent the wheel when it comes to names for classes or weapons that have been in the series.

If they are doing 2 jobs I would rather have 4.0 2 dps then 5.0 tank and healer and repeat.

Has anyone considered that they might have taken the post down about RDM being "one of two jobs in Stormblood" because it was incorrect, not because they wanted to keep it a secret?
I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing three jobs. Could be RDM, BLU and SAM. Could be RDM, BLU and DNC. Could be RDM, SAM and DNC. My bet is RDM, BLU and SAM.
I would lower your expectations if I were you. As much as I would love and very welcome 3 jobs (Who wouldn't?) The Tweet from SE NA and the Datamined files ONLY showing jobrdm and jobsam further enforce the point that we'll probably only get 2 jobs. There is still a possibility believe me, as a 3rd job could still be in production while SAM and RDM are finished, reason enough why their files are already in place.
But I'm just trying to help, you don't want to be disappointed. You must remember even with a higher budget they have to increase all the existing jobs by 5 levels, with the addition of DRK, MCH and AST that has further increased the work load per expansion + Battle System changes are a pretty big deal.
I say this but I will be disappointed if SAM is a DPS... I've prepared myself all this time yet I can't shrug off the fact that if it is indeed a DPS and it's very possible, I will be disappointed and there is nothing I can do about it. 2 Jobs only will not make me disappointed however so I guess it's just a preference thing we can't get rid of until all is confirmed at EU Fanfest.
I think when people say "Melee Healer" they don't literally mean they have to melee to heal people... atleast I hope not. Rather it's DPS form would be a Melee. I can imagine it still being DoM and still using MND, (Sorry but this is just the way healers and tanks will work. Fending and "HEALING" gear is here to stay and will be on all future tanks and healers, I will bite my lip if I'm wrong, but we'll go back to this part of my post in a few years...) but having a different Cleric stance that would swap MND for DEX or something like that. Atleast that is the way I look at it, would create interesting gameplay, if it works on the other hand... I don't know.

There are probably roughly the same number of people who feel the same way, only replace the word "DPS" with "Tank". We'll be disappointed and there's nothing we can do about it. But in the end and despite our personal preferences, I can say that I've come to terms with the fact (and it is a fact) that either Tank or DPS would be an acceptable outcome.
As for mentions of the budget rumor(s), it's important to remember that more jobs is not exactly the only way for a game to have more content, nor is it the best way.
You shouldn't need a new tank or a new healer to justify continuing to play a tank job or a healer job. This mindset of treating tanks and healers as a "role" you play rather than individual jobs to enjoy independently has always confused me, honestly. People who play Dragoon don't act like they need a new DPS to keep enjoying Dragoon, do they? Would there really be Black Mages whining about their role if Red Mage had been a melee job instead of a caster, even though Red Mage has nothing to do with the state of Black Mage?
I'd certainly rather, under those circumstances, Dancer were simply a close quarters job that carried a number of buffs for the party they use in the same manner a Bard would, not "a healer just because". Healer role (among others) is sort of needed to sort excess spellcasters into, anyway. Time Mage didn't need to be a Caster DPS, so they made it a Healer. Scholar could just as easily have been a Caster DPS, but they used the relative blank slate to create a Healer. I don't think we have nearly as great a need to funnel potential melee jobs into other roles as you might think, though.
In short, Dancer Healer would be poopy and dumb and I wouldn't like it, but I'd certainly take it in a heartbeat over something as outright stupid as Dancer Tank.
