I can't see us invading Garlemald in 5.0. I can't even see it in 6.0.

I also wouldn't like to be rid of the Garlean empire so soon... but it's so close to Ala Mhigo. Liberating Ala Mhigo and then leaving it again won't bode well when the empire is so close by.
Regardless if I'm wrong or not I think the next melee DPS will either be a Gunsword or Beast Master.

Edit: It's dangerously close, but maybe we'll do something so threating that the Garlean empire will think twice before trying to invade again.

Blue mage makes the most sense to me as well regardless of people digging into the game 3.5 files. A spider bit peter parker and he became spiderman. A blue mage gets hit with Beast magic and gains his powers. The samurai Sam Raimi theory is just too much of a reach IMHO. Blue Mage would also fit the Ala Mhigo theme of the Expansion.

There is also a red vs blue theme going on in Stormblood. even the name stormblood conjures image of blue and red. Storm = Blue (there's even a dye in game called Storm Blue :P), Blood = Red. Then we have the Trailers with the blue and red auras and the Azure and Crimson in the New Years Poem, even spider man himself has a red and blue costume.

I read on YouTube that people have found samurai in the game files, is that true?
Also, is it confimed that we only get 2 jobs this expansion? Because only redmage and samurai would be a huge letdown..(although still better than redmage + bluemage).

1: Yes, there were SAM files found in the 3.5 patch. 2: No official 'confirmation' but after Heavensward launched Yoshi-p said they weren't doing that many jobs again (Ninja with 2.4, then DRK/AST/MCH with 3.0). At most 2 for the next expansion.

So, you can dispute those answers if you want, but we'll see next month at the last fanfest officially.
