At FanFest Yoshi-P confirmed the guy is MNK and its the new AF gear he will wear at level 70.

It was either the dev panel, or an interview, where they asked about her. (I'm pretty sure it was off limits during the Q&A, but it could have been said there.) Around the time of the Vegas fanfest, and it was one of those "oh yeah... she's a monk too" type statements. It felt very dismissive and flippant though, (could have been poorly translated) which I think is what caused people not to believe it.

Her stance is a mirror image of the WoL's in that trailer, the latter having already been confirmed to be a Monk there. You also see her using the Featherfoot animation, followed by a Snap Punch, and even Twin Snakes. All the extra stuff that's got people reaching is owing to the fact it's a CGI trailer attempting to promote the game, not an in-game render, so there's more freedom animation-wise in how they want to express things.

It's one thing wanting Dancer in the game, that's fine, but the trailer leans far more to two Monks sparring (with the typical 'match your attack with the exact same move' trope) over an introduction to Dancer.

The big thing I'm pointing out with the while thing is that the stances they use while fighting isn't the stance monk has been using and the style of their moves have their differences from monks as well. It's all well and good to say they're monks in that trailer but if they are monks then I would have to say they're re-doing monks style of fighting.
The guy might be a monk but the girl is something different, she doesn't move or fight in the same type forms that monk does.

It's a CGI video. Of course it isn't going to look like they took in game footage of 2 Monks PvPing in Wolve's Den. That would be boring and offer no hype. The only noticeable animations that are exactly in game are shoulder tackle (1:18, WoL) and featherfoot (1;20 Lady in Red). The guy is a Monk and so is she: Freeze at 1:08 and check how they share the exact same stance. The only difference is their characterization lol. If she is "something different" than a Monk, then so is he. That is how similar they are.

Do you guys want to argue her gender too? XD

This is just what happens when trailers are released, and people are allowed to let their imaginations run wild lol. the in-depth speculation of a cgi teaser trailer is hilarious. Like seriously. IF dancer was even going to be a new job in the game, why would they actually showcase it in the teaser trailer at the same time they are announcing the expansion itself?

If anything that trailer could be two Monk's and actually depict a change in their play-style. Maybe less reliance on Greased Lightning and more about weaving between Hand to Hand combos and kicking combos.
