Anyone else aware of Hamamura's "predictions" during the Fanfest? He was being interviewed along with Yoshi and he dropped some thoughts that could or could not be taken seriously.

1) He mentioned the possibility of 3 jobs and Yoshi reacted

2) Speculated a tank addition to be Shogun as SAM tank

3) Afterwards, Yoshi discussed his thoughts on BLU and adding pet jobs in the future


With that being said, BLU seems like a distant plan since Yoshi mentioned it. If it was hinted, he would not say anything I believe. My source is the FFXIV Reddit Discord (datamining/translation section).

They already said it will focus more on the role and not on the job, so its possible we can choose from all meele skills as "meele DPS" and so on...

I thought it was the other way around? I remember a comment about how Yoshi-P said he wants to emphasis on the job identity more, I think doing what you mentioned would go against that. D:

I seriously don't see why she cannot be a dancer. Would it be much different from, say, SMN/SCH sharing Acanist as a class? MNK/DNC sharing Pugilist. Except we KNOW there won't be any class-sharing jobs against because SE is not happy with SMN/SCH sharing a class. I just find it silly to think that she can't be anything other than a MNK because her movements are obviously sharing strong similarities with Monks.

I am calling that the Spider-Man shirt will be beast master oriented or blue mage oriented. All the shirts have been blunt and obvious. The Sam rami theory is so far out there. I believe it is due to Spider-Man getting his powers from a spider like blue mage or using animal powers to fight.

(I hate the idea of it, but it is the most sound idea)

They may merge Beast Master and Blue Mage like they did with Ranger and Bard. I see them doing that a lot from here on out as the role system makes many classic stand alone jobs impossible.
