    I have seen the theory of the Samurai because of the director name, and the Blue Mage since Spiderman uses power given to him from a "monster" type.

    The more I thought about it the more I like the idea of the new job being Dancer or pherhaps Acrobat, (Not sure which FF game had acrobatics), the more sense it made to me, seeing as Spiderman is quite acrobatic.
    Dancer descriptions mentions that they are acrobatic in their movement and combat, normally with hidden blades or daggers.
    Hidden blades makes more sense since in the Stormblood trailer you can somewhat see the outline of a blade as she swings at the WoL, or it could simply just be the movement effect of her hand swinging fast in a cinematic effect.

    SE could just make a completly new job and name it Acrobat, and all of these hints are made to throw us off and we are looking too deep when it comes to directors name or Spiderman showing up once in a Samurai armor but instead we become blind to the most obvious he wanted to tell us, that Spiderman's traits is that he is acrobatic and has nimble movements in his way of combat.

    Personally I hope we get Samurai and then surprise, extra job Dancer! Like how they did with Astrologian despite saying only 2 jobs this time because balancing new jobs takes too much time.

    As much as I'd welcome Blue Mage, I can't see SE adding a second DoM class... it kind of goes against their habit of adding 2 DoWs and 1 DoM. Granted, we also need a Healer and a Tank for the two unrevealed classes since RDM took the DPS slot. Could BLU be a Tank or a Healer? Perhaps. I think I'd rather Dancer (Healer) and Samurai (Tank) at this point.

    [Edit]: Something else that's been on my mind is, it feels like the major nations of the story tend to have two or three classes attributed to them, falling into the roles of Healing, Tanking, and Damage Dealing. As classes are added with expansions it seems we're filling out the roster of each nation a bit more. I try to keep this in mind when seeing a new job being discussed, what nations need versus what they have.

    Ul'dah:
    * Gladiator/Paladin (Tank)
    * Thaumaturge/Black Mage (DPS)
    * N/A (Healer)

    Gridania:
    * N/A (Tank)
    * Archer/Bard (DPS)
    * Conjuror/White Mage (Healer)

    Limsa Lominsa:
    * Maurader (Tank)
    * Rogue (DPS)
    * Arcanist/Scholar (Healer)

    Ishgard:
    * Dark Knight (Tank)
    * Dragoon (DPS)
    * N/A (Healer)

    Ala Mhigo:
    * N/A (Tank)
    * Monk (DPS)
    * N/A (Healer)

    Sharlayan:
    * N/A (Tank)
    * N/A (DPS)
    * Astrologian (Healer)

    Doma:
    * N/A (Tank)
    * Ninja (DPS)
    * N/A (Healer)

    Garlemald:
    * N/A (Tank)
    * Machinist (DPS)
    * N/A (Healer)

    So when I look at the above list, I get ideas like, "Dancer seems like it could make for a suitable choice for the Ala Mhigo Healer slot," or, "Samurai would be an ideal Doma Tank slot." And yes, I'm aware Machinist is strongly Ishgardian in origin, but much of it is steeped in Magitech which I can't help but attribute to Garlemald and Cid. That's just my personal preference. Naturally there are other nations we don't really know much about either, like Radz-At-Han, or anyone from Meracydia (assuming there is a nation there at all right now). When I see Blue Mage my thoughts tend to be, "Huh... Past art makes it look appropriate for Ul'dah... maybe as a healer?" When I saw Red Mage my mind went, "Well, Sharlayan needs a DPS class and using White and Black Magic anywhere in Eorzea would be a one-way-ticket to calling down the wrath of Gridania and Ul'dah... It had to be developed off continent, like in the Homeland."

    I like the part where you excluded anything that would make your chart look like nonsense.

    If that wasn't Sarcasm, thanks! Not perfect and some classes are left up to interpretation (Warrior originates from a dead Tribe, for example, so didn't seem like it fit up there very well, and Summoner is Allagan which doesn't exist as a nation anymore as far as we know. Rogue and Ninja are essentially the same class but Rogue Lore suits Limsa absolutely perfectly, and Lancer may be in Gridania but Dragoon is far too much of an Ishgardian class).

    If it was Sarcasm, I admit its not perfect and subject to interpretation.

    Like I said, I acknowledge that its based in Ishgard. However, the technology is magitech. It is literally, magitech. It has been adapted by the Ishgardians to draw off their own aether rather than on ceruleum batteries or crystals, but that doesn't stop it from being magitech. That's why I felt it belonged with Garlemald in the list better. That, and Ishgard already has an iconic DPS class in Dragoon. Kind of sad it didn't get a healer class, but they could always end up adding one down the line.

    Honestly that feels like a stretch. The identity of the Job feels very much Ishgardian. The tools are of ishgardian design, built on knowledge gleaned from the garleans, true, but also from the Ishgardian's own weapons developed for bringing down dragons and the marksman skills are based of Limsian techniques.

    In the end I don't think there is any intentional applying of Jobs of particular roles to particular nations of origin. Hell SMN is an Allagan discipline.

    The lore book is unclear, implying indirectly that some Garleans can channel Aether. Everything has Aether. The world is literally made of the stuff. Its the very essence of life.

    As for the using of the tools, I suspect it requires a basic ability to channel Aether. Most Garleans seem to be on the same page as a certain bard/rogue in the WoL's acquaintance. They can even use an Aetheryte.

    Like I said, it was something of a trend I noticed during a discussion with people. I'll always see Machinist as more Garlean than Ishgardian. That's just my perspective though. Machinists don't play a major role in Ishgard outside of the job quests. Its not as though Aymeric dropped his sword and picked up a magitech gun. Its something brand new, so it doesn't have strong historical connection to Ishgard, certainly not the same way it does with Garlemald.
