Tokyo Fan Fest in game item code invalid?

So I bought, for the first time, a stream of Fan Fest way back when it first went on sale. Apperently the minion couldn't be redeemed at that point which was why I wanted to buy it so early. It says December 23 (today) at 7am (PST). It's now 7:36am PST as of typing this, and it's still saying my code is invalid on the mogstation item code page. I've copy/pasted the code from the cleeng email, I've manually entered the code, nothing works. At this point I've like quadruple checked the code was right...

You can redeem the codes prior to the final fanfest and receive the tokens for the outfits as well as the minion.

The issue here is the code being applied is not being accepted even though the email states they are valid at 7am Pacific Time on the 23rd of December, of which 43 minutes have passed since then.

OP, my code doesn't work either, and if I remember right, it took a while for the US fanfest codes to work too, so likely we're going to have to wait a bit until they start working, which is odd.

I know for a 100% fact this is not true to get the minion. I've seen the Rikku minion in game and that was from the Las Vegas Fan Fest code.

it wont wrk till after 5 pm pst cas time zones japan is 12 hours behind us so 7 am for them is 7 pm for us thats just an example if you live in the us that is
