Some of you still dont get the point that not everyone understands these things. You are creating an environment that is intolerant of others ability to switch. A healer is never a detriment to ateam because they heal, try doing stuff without oneThe part that you seem to be missing is that idle healers are a detriment to the party. What they believe doesn't matter.
Time and again, we (collectively, as proponents of active and engaged healer gameplay) have expressly stated that players who are learning how to play healers and/or are learning specific encounters or mechanics are not reasonably expected to stance-dance like pros from the start. Likewise, players who are in the position of having to use more healing actions due to issues with the party and/or an unusually high healing requirement are not expected to DPS to the detriment of healing. .
