Good job SE! You did one of the few things that could've caused me to reconsider my sub. Red Mage confirmed caster range dps... I don't see how this could ever even remotely still be a red mage.

It's both melee and ranged caster, looks like you have to dance between close and mid range positions, but we know too little, i want it to be as close as possible to the oldshool RDM.

Watching the video Red Mages will be bouncing between long range Magic Attacks and short ranged Melee attacks to build up chain spells to unleash a finisher. They seem to have both a gap closer and a gap creator.

Not entirely. I'm still on the "Ivalice is NOT on Hydaelyn" boat. If anything, the Void is up to its old tricks again. Ivalice is massive, yo.

Not directly connected as much as we will have a version of it in 14. This is already the case as many of the locations in FF12 are referenced as territories currently under Garlean control.
