    If they made those changes globally.. Made FFXIV into FFXI-2 I'd be all for it.. I LOVE the idea of XIV becoming XI.. Always did since announcement of the game itself, HOWEVER, as an exclusive to just FFXI players it could cause potential imbalance and unfair gameplay..

    You think it would give an unfair advantage to non-FFXI players? Can you.. tell me what kind of advantage exactly?

    Well over time they'd have access to all the things that make XIV XIV.. Better customizability, we'd all be stuck with the hinderances of playing an XI system while they play XIV system.. How is it not an advantage to be able to sub EVERY job instead of 1?

    I'd hate to think that Loyalty Mode would give FFXI players a disadvantage. That's what you were implying right? It's just that I've heard a lot of things FFXI players want and I say reward them for their time spent in FFXI. Some may think of that reward as a disadvantage but I think many would see it as a glorious blessing.

    Kinda funny I guess...

    Some of the things on the list are a bit exaggerated though. Others items had me wondering if it's really that terrible. Yeah, finding a party for a mission could be tedious at times, but there was something special about getting it done with a group of other people and having to plan your tactics. I think patience was a big part of FFXI, and even though boat rides took 15 minutes, it made me feel like the world I was playing in was alive; it added a layer of depth that games like WoW leave to the side of the road.

    I do hope jumping isn't on Yoshi's priority list, and I really don't think it would be that bad if they cut Anima down to 10 once the other forms of transportation are implemented.
