remove hairstyle restrictions

each race/gender only has a handful of hairstyles they can choose from, with the announcement of them dropping PS3 support was wondering what everyones opinion of the hair restrictions is.

do you think square should remove the race/gender hairstyle restrictions and let anyone use any of the hairstyles?

i think they should i dont like having 15 or so styles to choose from when theres so many in the game why cant i just choose any hairstyle that i like instead of limited what we can choose (theres quite a few hairstyles i really love too but their not available to my race)

please post your opinions of this (would love to get yoshi's opinion of this but i doubt he browses the english board )

To be fair I actually like the unique hairstyles per race. It's also not a lot to be honest, so I disagree with this TC. If you want a hairstyle which you cannot get, use fantasia and switch to that race. I like the exclusive hairstyles per race/gender.

I would like to see this, but I'm not sure about what the limitations are/if there are any technical reasons that some races have certain hairstyles and others don't. It would be neat if more of the hairstyles were shared between races, as there are a few hairstyles that Au Ra have that I would like to see on my Miqo'te.

No I think different races should look different and that includes many of their hairstyles, emotes and so on.

I want them to share most hairstyles between all races - can skip those which have horns in them for example.

In a past thread about this very same subject, one of the reps chimed in:

We're currently prioritizing the addition of new hairstyles that can be enjoyed by all races, but we will continue to look into opening up previously exclusive hairstyles to other races as well. If there are any specific hairstyles you would like to see added, please let us know so we can use them for future reference!

I think the reason the have lock on hairstyles is to make races unique in a way. I mean imagine a Lala with Au Ra hairstyle (not so bad they'll appear taller xD).
