BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL, SHAMELESS BUMP!!!!

But really, you could have different rules for each city, camp and hamlet, as well as different sets of cards.

They would probably need to do like they do for gambling sites: random encounters (I can see a kind of arena with different category levels) to avoid collusion.

There could also be a tournament formula

I refuse to let this topic get bumped to another page while 30 different "Moogle Weapon" threads occupy the first page.

    How about a Mog Card?

I remember in the previous post about this a while back, I came up with a Beastiary system that allows you to farm for cards. It's a -bit- like the current soulbinding of gear.

    Essentially (x/x = number of mobs killed/farmed):

Kill level 5 Marmot: 20/20 Once enough of them have been killed, you receive a randomized low-tier (1) Marmot card.
Kill level 10 Mole: 30/30 Once enough have been killed, you receive a randomized low-tier (2) Mole card
Kill level 30 Coblyn: 50/50 Once enough have been killed, you receive a randomized middle-tier (3) Coblyn card.
Kill level 45 Vulture: 75/75 Once enough have been killed, randomized semi-high tier (4) Vulture card.
Kill Ifrit: 10/10 Once you have killed Ifrit multiple times, you receive a randomized high tier (5) Ifrit card.

This will help to give people something to do in order to build stacks of cards, open up more achievements, as well as give players who primarily want to play cards more reason to want to do. The numbers and values on the cards should always be random, even if you receive the same card. This keeps people from farming the exact card over and over again and wiping other players clean and becoming overpowered.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.

It wouldn't work well in an MMO, I don't think.
